EAT GOOD + DO GOOD

Together, we can fight food insecurity in the Greater Philadelphia Region and help families live healthier lives.

Now through December 15, 2025

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of our heart-warming and stomach-filling campaign supporting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Food Pharmacies in our region. CHOP’s four food pharmacies provide families in the area with vital access to nutritious food and the resources they need to grow, recover, and thrive. We’re on a mission to raise awareness and necessary funds to help those in need.

Did you know that one in five people in Philadelphia experience food insecurity, meaning they don’t consistently have enough food for an active and healthy lifestyle?

Food Insecurity

With rising food costs, economic uncertainty, and unforeseen employment changes, now more than ever,  families need support to make ends meet.

Without a healthy diet, children’s overall health and development are at risk.

CHOP’s four area Food Pharmacies work to increase access to healthy foods and promote nutrition for families experiencing food insecurity.

By partnering with grocers, caterers, and community organizations, the Food Pharmacies can offer families an array of support from grocery delivery, financial planning, and free produce markets.

That’s why we’re partnering with CHOP to raise money .

Join us in fighting hunger and food insecurity in our region.

No matter how you choose to give, your donation will help countless individuals. Through this program, there are several local, regional and national resources for families who need support accessing nutritious food. As part of care provided by the Health and Well-being Clinic, all patient families are asked about food insecurity at every visit. If you need food, you are not alone — and the Food Pharmacy can help. Currently, CHOP has four food pharmacy locations. You can learn about each one here.
